An article just appeared in the online Edge magazine about the difficulties transpeople face in trying to access appropriate identification documents. I must say that I really like the soundbite I gave about the purpose of border security being to find out who has weapons, not who has penises. I know a lot of folks may wince at my use of the word penis and think it crass or harsh, but sometimes being stark is effective.
