Back to School: The Impact of Support

Mazy Gilleylen just started middle school. She’s already scored 100 on her only quiz and stood up to a bully. That’s not bad for anyone’s first month at a new school. But for Mazy, it’s almost a miracle.

“This is the first time since she’s been in school that we’ve just been able to breathe easy,” said Mazy’s mother, Amber. “When she left public school, she was failing her classes and was on a very low reading level. Now she can’t keep her nose out of a book. Things were not always this easy.”
