Mara Keisling is the founding Executive Director of the National Center for Transgender Equality. Mara is a transgender-identified woman and a parent. As one of the nation’s leading voices for transgender equality, Mara has appeared on news outlets including CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News.
As the Community Storytelling Advocate, Rebecca elevates the stories of transgender people and their allies. By working with a diverse range of spokespeople, she brings the wide range of transgender people’s lives and experiences into the policy advocacy and public education work of the transgender movement.
