Thank You for Celebrating Our Eighth Year Anniversary
Our anniversary ceremony on November 15th at the Mayflower Renaissance was a major success. Thanks to all who came out to celebrate with us, and to our generous sponsors and passionate speakers. Our eighth anniversary honored founding NCTE board member Donna Cartwright and Former Deputy Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement Brian Bond. The night’s keynote speaker was Secretary Shaun Donovan.

Over 300 people came out to witness the secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development become the first cabinet member to speak at a transgender function.
As NCTE’s largest celebration to date, with a growing staff, and an expanding portfolio of policy victories, year nine promises to be even more exciting.
